The June 5th meeting described in the attached announcement will explain the USGS 3DEP Program as well as the Seasketch tool that shows Areas of Interest so that potential partners can fill data gaps and avoid duplication in lidar data development. Meeting particulars, registration information, contact information and links to the SeaSketch tool are included in the attachment.
The 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) provides opportunities to acquire high-quality 3D Elevation data. Federal agencies, state and local governments, tribes, academic institutions and the private sector are eligible to submit pre-proposals. Pre-proposals are due by 1:00 PM August 25, 2015. An area being considered in PA for potential capture of elevation data includes Dauphin, Lebanon and Berks Counties.
